San Jose del Pacifico - Fieldwork

Unfortunately we didn't find any of TD's frogs, but we did see some interesting habitat and get to go on a great hike to Puesta del Sol, the mountain above SJdP.

Gorgeous wildflowers everywhere - neat to see Mexican sage and other ornamental plants growing wild



Gorgeous forest with moss and bromeliads


We came out on the other side of the mountain which was much drier


And because I never remember bugspray - fly and chigger bites. Awesome.

David and I both had bad reactions to the flies. 
Next time: remember bug spray!
